U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Brett P. Giroir, M.D. received his flu vaccination on Monday at a Washington, D.C. Harris Teeter pharmacy.
Giroir posted on Twitter:
- “Today, I joined the other #flufighters and got my #flushot at my neighborhood pharmacy – @HarrisTeeter! Thank you @HarrisTeeter, @NACDS, and all community pharmacists providing #fluvaccine safely during the #COVID19 pandemic.”
- “This year because of #COVID19, getting your #flushot is even more critical. Getting a flu vaccine not only protects you, but those around you who may be more vulnerable to potentially serious flu complications.”
