Importantly, the potential COVID-19 funding agreement that had been discussed prior to the two-week Congressional recess did not include funding for programs for the uninsured.

NACDS commends the members for their active role in prioritizing the health and wellbeing of the American people — including the nation’s most vulnerable.
NACDS continues to urge collaboration across the Biden Administration and the U.S. Congress to help ensure allocation of funding for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Uninsured Program, Coverage Assistance Fund (CAF) Program, testing programs and other essential COVID-19 care programs for COVID-19 vaccinations, testing and treatment.
