Pictured here, student pharmacists advocate for pro-pharmacy and pro-patient policies in 2019. The 2020 NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill will be held March 10-11 in Washington, D.C.
A record-breaking 57 campuses will be represented by 60 student pharmacists at the 2020 NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill. The event, which has reached every Congressional office in recent years with NACDS’ pro-pharmacy and pro-patient agenda, will be held March 10-11, 2020, in Washington, D.C.
Student pharmacists are selected for participation from an array of highly talented applicants. Participants engage in NACDS RxIMPACT “U” Academy, which presents compelling insights on the power of advocacy, the policymaking process, and effective advocacy and communications strategies. Student pharmacists immediately apply their learnings by participating in Congressional meetings alongside representatives of NACDS member companies. They also prepare themselves for advocacy engagement that will advance their own professionalism while advancing accessible and quality care for patients.
