On Monday, the editors of Chain Drug Review named the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) “Retailer of the Year.”
The publication’s annual award traditionally honors retailers for their contributions to the industry. This year, NACDS — an association comprised of retailers and suppliers — was recognized for its success throughout the COVID pandemic in advancing the public policy critical to patients’ wellbeing and pharmacies’ viability.
“It is the NACDS members’ remarkable contributions to the fight against the COVID pandemic; their commitment to serving the American people; and their unyielding vision to empower patients’ total health and wellness; that have earned NACDS — the collection of its members — this prestigious award,” said NACDS President and CEO Steven C. Anderson. “We emphasize at every turn: the members are NACDS. So, Chain Drug Review has bestowed this honor on the entire NACDS membership, and has paid tribute to the tremendous power of association.”
