NACDS looks forward to welcoming back NACDS chain and associate members to the fast-approaching NACDS Annual Meeting, to be held April 23-26 in Palm Beach, FL.
The highly anticipated, in-person event will deliver one-of-a-kind opportunities for senior executives and team members — from NACDS-member retailers and suppliers — to strengthen relationships, connect and foster strategic business partnerships.
A vital part of the vibrant conference schedule is the Meet the Industry program — which is exclusively designed for NACDS-member supplier companies. The program will take place on Saturday, April 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. and will include 30-minute sessions presented by senior executives from CVS Health, Rite Aid, Cardinal Health, Kroger and Walgreens. Presenters will provide an overview of their company; talk about how they maximize the NACDS Annual Meeting to conduct business; and preview topics they anticipate discussing with suppliers.
In addition to top-to-top business and strategic exchanges, the NACDS Annual Meeting will feature compelling speakers from a range of disciplines:
- Former defense secretary, Dr. Mark Esper, is set to speak at the Business Program on Tuesday, April 26. Dr. Esper will bring a unique perspective on the issues that are shaping the industry and the nation today.
- Political strategist Karl Rove — who served as senior advisor and deputy chief of staff for then-President George W. Bush — will speak at the NACDS-PAC Breakfast on Monday, April 25. Rove spoke at the NACDS Annual Meeting in 2017, and will offer his strategic insights on the major political issues of the day — particularly with the upcoming 2022 elections.
- Innovative business executive and founder, Lisa Sun, will present during the NACDS Luncheon on Monday, April 25, where she will share experience-driven insights on how to meaningfully use “gravitas” in personal and professional settings.
- Sunday’s Business Program will feature remarks by the NACDS leadership – including current NACDS Chair Colleen Lindholz, president, Kroger Health, The Kroger Co.; Chairman and CEO of The Kroger Co., Rodney McMullen; and NACDS President & CEO Steven C. Anderson. Incoming NACDS Chair Brian Nightengale, president, Good Neighbor Pharmacy, will also be a part of the Business Programs, presenting on Tuesday.
