Members of the NACDS staff team requested my personal thoughts about the events in our nation's capital on Wednesday, January 6. The following is the text of an email that I sent to the entire NACDS staff team on Thursday, January 7, which I would like to share with the NACDS membership as well.

NACDS launched our “Rise” ad on April 2. We pledged that NACDS members would be there for America during the pandemic – lights on, doors open – just as in prior emergencies. That ad rings as true today as it did when we launched it. For that, the amazing heroes of this industry – and many other heroes as well – deserve tremendous appreciation.

In Memoriam: Gene Bailey

NACDS and our industry mourn the loss of highly respected industry executive Gene Bailey. Gene was unique in that he worked not only for NACDS chain and associate members, but he also served as a member of the NACDS staff from 1998-2002.

Presidential Debate Watchers in D.C. to See NACDS Flu Ads

NACDS’ flu-vaccination message is set to achieve significant visibility before the Washington, D.C. political establishment and opinion leaders this week. In the Washington, D.C. market, our TV ads will run five times each on FOX News Channel and CNN on Tuesday and Wednesday – the “Presidential debate day” and “debate reaction day.”
